I was the perfect age to love the Jackson 5 when they were still going, but had an older brother who was into prog rock and so didn’t get much love for liking Michael and his brothers. (Yes, Alan, I’m blaming you. For everything. You owned RUSH RECORDS! And Alan Parson. Of course, you also gave me Peter Gabriel so I can’t be all mad.) The only way I got to hear the songs was on my little Radio Shack AM radio or on Saturday morning cartoons.
Here’s the cartoon version of ABC. It’s a great pop song, and even my brother recognizes that now (as you’ll see in the comments when he takes the bait).
